There’s such a massive volume of blogging going on regarding Cartoon Wars, it’s tough to get a word in edgewise. Tough to find anything to say that hasn’t been covered by dozens, if not hundreds of other people already.

For those of you just now crawling out from under a stripper, squinting out the window of the crackhouse and exclaiming “the devil sun, it blinds me!”, you can read up on the latest Islamofascist cause celebre here.

Personally, I find nothing atypical here in regards to the Islamists. Killing each other in their zeal to protect their faith? Check. Protests running out of control and ending in arson? Check. Corrupt regimes failing to control their populace and then issuing hollow apologies much too late? Check. National flags burnt? Check. Threats of kidnapping, torture and murder against the Infidel West? Check.

The response from the West, though, is both dismaying and highly alarming. Note:

- you can dip a crucifix in a bottle of urine, name it Piss Christ, and be a celebrated artist.

- you can smear an image of Mary with elephant feces and be considered “controversial” and “powerful”,

- you can portray Jesus Christ as a sexually ambiguous hedonist and be lauded as the greatest director of your time, and make scads of cash to boot,

- but if you dare to “blaspheme” the “Great Prophet” Mohammed, you will be condemned by the US Government, left twisting in the wind by your supposed closest allies, Muslims will burn your shit down and threaten to kill you. Or, actually kill you.

Why the double-standard? The obvious answer: This isn’t 1425 AD; Christians might boycott your gallery opening or your lame flick, but they won’t burn your house down and kill your family over it. Islamists will.

And because of that simple answer, the West caves in to Islam, and Islam grows ever bolder in it’s affronts against the West and, indeed, humanity. As Islam’s power to control our politics and media are on the wax, freedom is on the wane.

Would Thomas Jefferson have put up with this shit? I don’t fucking think so, sir.

Our freedom is being sold for oil; the irony being, it’s happening in exactly the opposite fashion that western liberals would have you think. We’re not fighting foreign wars to plunder Arabian oil wealth; we’re kowtowing to a barbaric religion of brutality, slavery and murder in order to keep our lips securely vacuum-sealed to OPEC’s suppurating, syphilis-blistered foreskin.

The West needs to grow some balls in the face of this threat, and soon, or we’ll all be bowing to Mecca, like it nor not.

I wouldn’t hold out hope though. The west rediscovering its balls?
