I’m not going to rehash the whole “Cartoon Wars” issue again, per se. I’m sure you all know where the story currently stands.

A battle line is being drawn, between western freedom and Islamic Sharia law. Radical Islamic leaders are pressuring the west to bow down to Sharia mandates and sensibilities, and the west is quietly caving in.

Denmark, however, has not. They’ve stood firm for freedom while their “allies” on the continent and in the US have waffled and appeased. The wave of fascist Islamists has crashed again and again over the small rock that is Denmark, and like the rock, they withstand the tide.

Today, Christopher Hitchens is attempting to gather a show of support outside the Danish Embassy in Washington D.C., and bloggers from around the world are being asked to weigh in for their readers on the side of freedom. I know my readers, perhaps, except, for one, cannot be in Washington today. However, I’d ask you to email the Danish embassy at wasamb@um.dk and let them know that, as free Americans, you support their principled stand for one of our most cherished and important freedoms.
