[13:23] [FoRRabbit`w3rk] why can’t we impeach him?
[13:25] [FoRRedlan`w3rk] I think a grassroots push for impeachment would send the right message to our Republican and Democratic “representatives” alike.
[13:26] [FoRRabbit`w3rk] get the ball rolling imo

So, the following letter was just sent to Maine’s senior senator, Olympia Snowe:

Dear Senator Snowe,

I’m writing, as a Republican constituent who has voted for you since 1992, to beg you to seriously consider the impeachment of George W. Bush from the Presidency of the United States.

I’ve been a dedicated, conservative Republican for fifteen years now, and I consider myself to be both well-read and well-informed. While I shun the harsher messages being parroted by many pundits on the “hard right”, I continue to believe in traditional, *conservative* American values.

I see our President, and most of the “Republican” membership of congress, as a complete and utter betrayal of most of those ideals, on almost every conceivable level. However, his complete, abject failure to secure America’s borders does, in my mind, border on treason.

In America, we used to hang people guilty of treason. Now, we pay them millions of dollars to go on university speaking tours.

Please help end the growing madness in America. Help make America secure. Support tight border control and enforcement of existing law, and support the impeachment of el Presidente Jorge Bush.

Thank you for your time, Senator.

Sincerely,

Nathan G. Francis
Lewiston, ME.

I urge you all to write something similar to your senators today, particularly those of you who vote Republican. Something, somehow, has to start getting the message across.
