Amidst scandal, a Frenchman talks tough.
Posted by Nate under Nate
Reading about a growing political scandal in France just now, and noticed a delectable quote from Nicholas Sarkozy:
“When I shoot, I shoot to kill, not to wound. The end to this is close.”
That would, of course, diametrically oppose him to the majority of France’s national army, who in the past have eschewed shooting for a much more agreeable unconditional surrender.
Pithy commentary aside, the blog’s worth a read.
